Just put a cutout on my car! My impressions and advice....

Leak where? If everything is welded, there should bo no leak...right?
ALso, is it better to put the cutouts after the headers and before the Casyts?
Will stock headers sound good with headers to cutouts?

the plate will open a tad bit when alot of air is forced thru the pipe

example- punch it at 3,000 or so and it would leak

stock is manifolds, headers are a mod

People here and at LS1.com seem to like either the Mccord, or the Qtp e cutouts. Once I tire of the noise, or climbing under the car I might consider one of those.

I might opt for an electronic one one day, but right now Im ok with laying down next to the car and undoing the wingnuts...

This may sound stupid, but is the electric cutout all one piece or do you have to buy a cutout and then install the electric component.
