Jet-Hot LT Install - K-Member Modification?

Hey guys, I'm installing, or will at least be trying to install, some Jet-Hot LT's this weekend. I've read in other install documents that cutting a notch into the K-member is necessary for some long tube installs. Has anyone had this experience with Jet-Hot headers or Hookers? Can anyone tell me that it is certain I will not have to?

Thanks,

Sean

I have Jet Hots on my 00 ta. We did not cut my k member but they do rub some. I have not noticed a big problem with false nock but it is possible.

the driver's side touched the kmember on my friends 02 t/a. instead of cutting the kmember, he had the exhaust shop "massage" the primary a little
