Is the intake on a SS restricted with the Ram Air? If so What kind of lid would you get?

 

Yep, the "ram air" on the SS is more cosmetic than functional. Although it does bring in some outside ambient air. I have a Volant that Im pretty happy with, either that or a FIPK. Most of the sponsors sell these or the high flow lids, & a K&N filter.

 

I would suggest a whisper lid and a Holley powershot filter.

The lid only because I havent seen anyone with fitment issues yet.

The filter because it fits as if it were made for our cars while the K&N uses a foam spacer to help make it fit.
