Intake manifold question

Question Intake manifold question

A guy I work with says he has a intake manifold off of a 2001 corvette with no EGR for sale for 160 bucks.My question is this a LS6 Intake and is this a good deal?

Yes it is an LS6 manifold and if it is good condition, it is not a bad price.

They usually go for $300+, sounds good to me.

just keep in mind that you'll need 2 coolant plugs and a coolant pipe for the LS1 to LS6 Intake conversion - inexpensive items - under 30 bucks total

also if you have an '01-'02 LS1, you already have an LS6 intake

One more question on this intake.A friend of mine says that just because this intake has no EGR , it could still be a LS1 intake if the bottom side of the manifold is not flat! Is this true?
