insane misfires are BACK!!
One of my friends said that his bud had the same issue..
He replaced all the same stuff.. Coil packs, wires.. everything..
When he finally replaced the original AC Delco battery his problem went away..
See if you can borrow a buddies battery or pick one up cheap.
Good Luck!

UPDATE
been unable to work on the car much...work keeping me busy
it has been running fine for a few weeks, although i have keept the revs low since i think that seems to trigger the misfire.
i went out to "test my theory" of high rpms inducing the misfire yesterday. i reved it up in 1st quick and about 10seconds later it starts misfiring. BUT within a mile it is back to normal.
so a few hours later i try it again...rev it up and same thing happens. however while i'm driving it around (while missing) i can tell that it isn't missing as bad, like it's only ONE cylinder

i scan it today and it says that only cylinder 7 is misfiring....
i take it out for another "test" and it misfires, but agaiin only feeling like one cylinder again instead of 2...and it quickly goes away.
i'm really thinking it is just something gummed up...like a lifter.
what's funny is i WANT it to misfire now so that i can do a compression check...that will tell me if the valves are not closing (lifter or spring problem) or if it's more fuel or injector related.
figures now it won't cooperate
