Idle Problems Plz. help

Hey there

My camaro 02, has been sitting for like 4 months now.. (****ed up my tranny and rear end)

So got all that new installed.

So now I have an idle problem, my idle is going between 400-500 rpm. and you can hear is going up and down all the time when the engine is hot. When I for example go in reverse and then goes to D (automatic) it will sometimes also stall.

I hope one of you guys have a good idea what it could be, or what I should check.

BR

Soren

did you put stabil in the gas tank before you stored the car? try adding octane booster to the tank and see what it does after a dozen or so miles.

Reset your computer then start the motor and let it idle for a while. Then turn on the AC and let it idle some more. It need to relearn the idle.
