Post Hypertech powerstat & regular thermostat, any difference?

Just curious if the hypertech is worth the extra $$,

I can't see where this would do much good w/o the Hypertech unit to get the fans to come on sooner.

Otherwise, the stat opens @ 180 (or 160, depending on what you pick) but the temp continues to climb up to the factory fan on setting of 227 degrees & off @ 218.

(Something like that, anyway.)

You can always just install a manual fan switch and that way you don't have to buy the HPP.It only costs about $9 in parts from Radio Shack and it takes about 30 minutes.You can shoot me an e-mail if you want to know how to do it,I can't remember the link that explains how but I'm sure I can walk you through it.

get the hypertech 160 and install a fan switch. without the switch it will make very little difference.
