Lingenfelter does not make any blocks

I dont remember if they are using the c5-r block, or a resleeved ls1 block. i believes its the C5-r block

Y2khawk made 700rwhp on a mustang dyno and not even on a high balling dynojet. Figure that type of power on a dynojet is 750?

Oh yeah, stock crank too

Well your first problem is no one makes a twin turbo system for the LS1 anymore.
wrong. charged-air systems makes a twin kit for our cars. already two test cars have been completed and they are supposed to have the kit out for retail soon.

Thanks again guys.Since the engine is going in a 69 Camaro a kit for the later cars wouldn't work. I'm mainly trying to figure out the limits for the stock car aluminum LS1 block. I know the C5R block is stronger, but at $6K would make me lean towards a standard small block instead of the LS1. If the car block or maybe the truck block could handle 850-900 hp (I've lowered my sights a little!) then that's what I want to do. All the internals will be aftermarket.

Thanks again.

Last I heard it was a long way off from going retail.

I think I'm going to pass on the LS1 direction. Seems 700 HP or so is the practical limit with these. I'm sure it won't blow up the first time you exceed that, but how long will it last? Plus 10 head bolts per side doesn't lend itself to a lot of boost.

Thanks for all the help guys.
