So if your buy an auto to go faster you have no clue.

Stock for stock: sure a well driven M6 will be faster, but Who leaves their cars stock?

An A4 will be more consistent, and with a good stall will out launch any manual....

M6 is way more fun I conceed that.. for a serious drag car, an auto is almost a must have.

Cool Re: How much HP...would you guess?

Yea, get a auto if your going to be racing on the Pro Drag League, and only using your Ls1 to race in a straight line at the track, which I doubt most Ls1 owners do. So to reiterate my point again Autos are absolutely worthless, unless you lost your ***** and I guess I can see why you would buy an auto then.

You also have a weight advantage on the TA

You know that's not a very nice thing to be saying, even with a winkie.

But I'll tell you stick shiftsnobs something, even when my car had just a cat back and lid, I NEVER lost to an equally modded stick car, NEVER.

You can lose up to 30 % Torque at the wheels just by having an auto. But with a stick, you only lose 10-15%. I'd take my chances with the shifter anyday. Plus, autos are for girlies. I'm my personal opinion, there's nothing better than chosing my own gears. But everyone's different I guess.

your an idiot u must leave the board now. you dont even know what your talking about. 30% loss...lol its 18% and manuals lose 12%...know what your talking about before you open your mouth...some people these days
