how many miles on your ls1's

hey guys i am thinking about getting a LS1 in the future, (a couple months) 6spd Trans am, but i will probably get one with around 50-70 thousand miles on it. how are your guys cars running with your amount of miles, and what kind of problems have you had, well my dad has a 02 ws6 with 21000 on it and the interior looks like the same day he bought it! and runs like brand new! well thanks in advance! any help is appreciated!

My '99 just rolled over 90,000 miles and runs like a champ. I haven't had the car long, but it's having no problems at all so far.

It just turned 60,000 on Sunday and it runs great.

I bought the car in Feb. '03 with 41,000 miles.

thanks guys, so i shouldnt have major problems getting a 50-70 thousand mile car unless its one that was just completly abused and not taken care of? thanks in advance, keep them coming!

Yeah i have and 01 with 40k runs perfect. U shouldnt have any problems with 50k or more unless u pick up a car that is completely modded. Make sure the car you get is as close to stock as possible. If u pick up a car with a lot of mods done to it ur liable to run into some problems.

8100 miles in 2 years as of today You can have my car in about 20 years fully modded with maybe 50K on it and it will still look and run like new

Got 61000 here and the only problem I have is a leaking pinion seal I need to take care of but I dont feel like messing with a crush sleeve and setting pinion bearing preload right now. So I'll just keep it topped off unti summer rolls around and it's a little warmer.
