How fast is a full bolt on ls1
#4
High 11s...
M6s generally reach low 12s but can touch high 11s with a 12-bolt. A4s can get into the 11s with all the bolt-ons and a good loose converter. Some A4s have touched mid-11s with weight reduction.
This is a whole niche of competition-the "bolt-on record." Find out more about it on LS1tech.com.

Depends upon how much you're willing to strip the car, catching some real good air and a well prepped track.
There's several people who have got down into the mid 11s and even into the low 11s ... but that's on race weights in the 3200 lb range and negative D/As in the area of -500 or better.
I hit 12.12 on near full weight car, in a plus 1400 D/A with a relatively mild convertor; 3200 stall w/1.86 STR.
I would have made the 11s with the winter weather. But I washed out a ring and while the car was down I put H/C in it ... now I set it up most of the time to keep it out of the 11s so I can bracket race it with out having to put a roll bar in ...
Bottom line ... a full bolt on LS1 is fully capable of low 12s high 11s.

LS1 Motorsports lid and K&N, Granatelli Z06 MAF, Hooker long tubes, Hooker off road Y pipe, and Loudmouth (i dont suggest that exhaust combo! too much rasp and drone!) I need tuning BADLY b/c I have audible knock and run a bit rich. There's an 01 T/A in my group with a lid and cutout that made 337/350+ and an 02 Z28 with lid, filter, and true duals that made 339/350+...Our dyno man said if I get my few bugs worked out I should be a hair over 350 at the wheels and my tq should tip 370 no problem.
Here's my dyno graph, and YES it was smoothed...but notice how spikey it still is...
TJ's 2002 Z28

I am no great driver by any means and I have hit 12.9's on 2 seperate trips to the track and I don't have full bolt-ons. So my guess is, full bolt-on's, good driver and slicks = high 11's only a guess???
