I can't figure out how to get my patriot gold dual springs in. How in the world does anyone get these installed without removing the heads? I`m thinking about pulling them off just to make it easier! Every time I try to compress the new springs, the inner spring shoots out! it won't hold once I compress it. How did everyone else do it?

Silly question, but you are compressing them with the new retainer on top, right?

I personally like the "Larry tool" for in car spring swaps. It's cheap and reliable. Do a search on LS1tech for "Larry Tool" and it will point you to the right place to pick one up, I think they're about $30.
