Question How close to breaking into 12s am I?

Just curious. I know it definately doesn't help since I don't have times already, but maybe you all might have previous experience with my mods to say what else I might need. But yeah, what else will it take for 12s? I've got a 99TA, A4 w/ 3.23s, lid/filter, smooth air bellow, and a Dynomax muffler. I'm gonna get some new rims/tires soon-- the tires will be big enough for perfect traction at my current power level. So... what else do you think I'll need?

bigger is not always better
bigger = more friction
better would be the least amount of tire that you need to get the traction you want..

I suggest some drag radials... and 1more mod.. a Torque Converter.. I would suggest a 28-3200 stall.. no more..

With slicks or some drag radials you should be in the 12s..
It really is that easy...

Sounds great. The reason behind the big tires though is because sometime, hopefully in the NEAR future I'll be doing some BIG mods (thinkin S/C), so I figure if I'm gonna get some new rims might as well get what I can still use down the road. Thanks for the help
