I had skinnies on,jack and spare out and back seats out.I was running dr's mounted on salad shooters at 13 psi. I was launching in between 4400-4800. I had 4.10 gears and mac mid length headers.I went 11's for less than $2000.Now I have spent a lot of money and if I dont hit 10's I am going to kill my cat or something.

Nice, i'm right at 2k in mods also but on an LT1

I just don't see a 1.7 happening though since my car is lowered and stock clutch.

I did my 1.70 with a stock clutch. My best 60' to date was a 1.60 @ Maple Grove.Mikey witnessed that launch. But I missed a gear and still went 12.2 lol. That would have definately beaten 11.90.
You can relocate your battery to the back and take off the front sway bar for the track. It doesnt take long and that would take atleast 65 lbs off the front of your car.
I had a buddy go 12.2's in his 95 LT1 with just a LT4 cam! It can be done!

Well, I went with an extreme port job on the heads, a 3400 stall converter, and a .581/.581 lift@224/224 duration@ .050... with a 112 LSA... I think she'll scoot. It'll all be here on Friday!

Thanks guys!

Talking

i had install a Comp cam 224/228 with a 581/589lift on a 112LSA.
Now you have to have it computer tuned. No buts about it it will not hold a idle you will maybe get 7miles to the gallon! I will run like S@#T, and you wiil may grab 20RWHP..... Now I dyno 381RWHP 376RWTQ that with computer tunning and dyno tunning which grab an extra 15 RWHP..... It's a good cam on the street and has a good lope to it and pulls hard
