...I've been thinking about doing a cam this summer. I have an '04 LS6 longblock in my '98 Z28 and I put down 385 RWHP with all the bolt-ons. Since I already have LS6 springs and wouldn't have to change them, I like the idea of the LS1 Hotcam, but I want to get over the 400 RWHP mark. Do ya'll think the Hotcam will do that for me? I like the "tameness" of the LS6 stock cam, so how would the LS1 Hotcam compare to the LS6 cam?
