Horn beeps once now?

Today when I went to unlock my car I hit the panic button. After fumbling to shut it off I guess I did something because when I lock it now it only beeps once instead of twice. Ever hear of this before? On a side note, is there any way to make it not beep and just have the lights flash as it does now? Thanks

It beeps once when the hatch is open. My does it on its own sometime. Pop the hatch, then shut it. That works for me. Check the feature customizations part yof your owner's manual. It will tell you how to program your alarm. There are many options for what you want, and the book is easy to follow.
