I have a friend with a 02 T/A and he wants headers. I was looking up a set for him and on one site they said Hooker LT's for only 98-99 LS1 F-bodies and another said 98-02. Which is right will these headers fit on my buddies T/A. Need to know asap. He wants to order tonight.

The hookers are designed for a 98-99 car. With a 02' TA you need to buy an EGR block off plate to go on the headers as well as 98-99 air tubes as the 00-02 air tubes are designed differently. Some people have bent the stock 00-02 air tubes to fit the hookers, but I would recommend just buying the stock 98-99 ones.(get them from gmpartsdirect or a local dealership) Also, it would be a good idea to do the air restirctor mod while you are there. Give paceparts a call, they have all the stuff you need. Cost wise, the 98-99 air tubes are about $60 shipped and the egr blockoff and air restrictor mod cost about $40 shipped.
