Not to mention, as a car thief; I think under the seat would be the 3rd place I looked.

I'll never forget the day I was having tires put on and this guy came in with a van to have some work done.

The tech went out to move the van into the bay, and the owner went out there with him. I heard him say "Let me show you where the kill switch is." Just about then ... VROOM ! The tech started the car by reaching down beside the seat and hitting the "hidden" switch.

Nope ... dash, seat, console, glove box .. not good ideas.
