i read the warranty and cleaning instrucitions before i put it in my car. it said never use with out putting the powershot OIL on it. i got it from thunder racing, should it be ready to use and already have the oil on it. do i just need to put the oil on it when i clean it in about 25,000 miles?

It comes pre-oiled.

 

Yeah, you can tell, cuz the oil is colored. If it isn't oiled, the filter will be white... oiled, it will be blue.
