Hole in TSP Lid?

I have an '02 Z28 for which I bought a TSP carbon fiber lid. There is a hole on the side near where the MAF installs into which it appears that you insert the black hose coming out of the stock induction lid. The instructions with the TSP lid say to pull this hose out of the stock lid and put a breather filter on the end (which I have). What do I do with the hole? Leave it open? That doesn't seem to make any sense to me. Or am I simply not reading the instructions right? Anyone know?

I believe you're talking about the hole for the iat sensor. Remove it and the rubber grommet from the stock lid (it can be a stubborn PITA) and put it in your TSP lid. It goes in a lot easier than it comes out

Use this as a guide if you need to:

Hey, thanks a lot for the install university link. Helps a lot clears up the IAT versus breather tube thing.
