High flow waterpumps

My stock pump is about to die, would it be worth it to upgrade to a higher flow one? From the research i've done there's not too many manufactures out there Meziere electric pumps (not too interested) Evans and Edelbrock and they are all pricey. I don't have anything too crazy going on as far as performance goes, heads and a mild cam, i don't abuse the car often so it doesn't see 5000rpm+ too much. My stock pump held up for quite some time and i didn't really have any cooling issues, i'm just wondering if it'll be sufficient enough in the long run.

The stock pump is more than adequate for nearly any application. That's why the "high flow" choices are so limited - it's not necessary.

Ditto. I use a Meziere only because mine is a drag car and electric pumps flow the same amount of water all the time so I get better cool down while idling back to the pits.

It'll also free up 10-15hp.
