ATI all the way...hands down. its not so much that the vortech is bad, its just that the ATI is much better.

Procharger has the intercoolers, but Vortech has the reliability. I've never heard of any of my friends breaking Vortechs. However, several have had their prochargers tossing belts from weak brackets, blowing out seals on their SC units, etc etc.

When they run well, the prochargers are hard to beat though.

From what I hear and seen ATI is only having trouble with the D1SC version when it comes to throwing belts.I have not heard of the P1SC throwing one (not saying it hasnt though).ATI makes more power and gives you a cleaner looking engine bay.Have you ever seen a Vortech on a LS1? Its a cluster to say the least! Its all up to you in the end.
If you are going to race you will definately need a clutch.Because it will definately fad fast.A 12 bolt would also be a good investment.Long tube headers and all the boltons are also nessessary.Tuning is also something to worry about.Upgrading your fuel system and engine (to be safe). The list goes on and on.What are you willing to spend?Thats what it comes down to.
