heads?

heads?

I have 02 z/28 automatic a LS1 hot cam from gm 1.8-1 rockers this is my everyday driver and would like to see around 400+ at the wheels but cannt make up my mind on heads either 5.3 heads or just working on my stock heads any ideas or different suggestions

with that cam, and an auto trans...you'll be hard pressed to hit 400rwhp.

380s should be no problem.

there is someone on here with hotcam and heads making 400rwhp but it was through an M6 i think.

what's the final lift with those rockers? wanna make sure you get a head that flows well to the level of the cam.

i would think either of the heads, the 5.3s or 5.7s, would work well. but depending on the intake runner size, you may lose some low end power. if all you want is a peak dyno number...by all means go for the bigger heads. but if you want useable power, maybe look into some of the smaller runner designs.
AFR 205s, Dart 205s or something like that.

someplace i saw some ported ls6 heads for a really good price, and they were advertised to have a 215cc runner. search around for those.
