I hope money is an option, because it's going to cost you. If you really want the best, I'd recommend going stainless, so that points you toward Kooks or QTP's. Also, best and mid-length are mutually exclusive. Somebody else may chime in, but I believe Mac is the only maker of mid-lengths for our cars.

Why don't you get LT headers. The LT flow better. See the pics of my SS in my sig. Why haven't you been to the f-body meeting at Valley Forge Park?

StainlessWorks 304SS LT Headers + Catted Y-pipe. They use dual RT cats. Superb quality - as good as QTP's, and LESS EXPENSIVE!

just got through dynoing the Bassani headers and y-pipe with cats for www.vincihighperformance.com a gain of 10hp. the only other aftermarket part was the borla catback (dyno #5 hood up). install pics here: http://www.stealthram.com/bassaniheadersinstall.html

the stock manifolds are pretty good. but they did notice about 5" of vacuum on the TECH II scanner. so they added the air lid and polyfoam filter. then the MAF housing ends.

added the VHP air lid and polyfoam filter ( vacuum dropped to 1")

Added the MAF housing ( O2 reading went from 990s to 890s)

grand total for all parts added vs stock w/ borla
