i wouldn't worry about the locking bolts. i just reused the stock bolts, not even the suppied ones. and they have sealed great.

alright are these the type of metal gaskets that i want for my LS1, or do i need anything else as far as gaskets go - http://ls1f-body.racenet.net/exhaust.php

Those would work i'm sure but that place is in texas, try to find them local, any kinda autoshop store, i bought mine from an autozone close to my house after i made a few calls and found out who sold them, drove over there, payed for em and they called me the next day to tell me they got them and i picked em up.

I hate advertising bull like this. Tensile strength has absolutely nothing to do with a gasket that is in compression for it's whole life.

I used GM multi layer metal gaskets for my header install. Yep, that's the stock gaskets. No leaks or problems of any sort.
