A local dealer here is printing out the KBB valuations, sticking them on the windows, and showing how many thousands off that price they're selling their used cars at.
The state of our economy has alot to do with it too.

I just got a 2000 Z-28 fully loaded w/ 30000 miles for 15000. It is a A4. I bought off of a dealer, he said they keep FBodys for about a week before they are sold. I am in Texas though.

I traded off my loaded NBM '00 Z28 two months ago on a C5 and the dealers first offer was 10k trade! The used car market is horrible if you are selling. The only good thing is the price is right if you are buying. I would have never guessed I'd have a vette at 25!

From the posts I see I think my price is fair (or even low), so I guess I will just wait it out and it will sell eventually. I see that many people got cars $3-4000 cheaper but with over twice as many miles and 2-4 years older. One thing to remember is that my car is almost new and is still under factory warranty for 2 more years. Oh well, it isn't killing me too bad to keep this car.

I looked and looked for a pretty nice deal on a SS, but I couldn't find any cars with my exact specifications for under $17K. I gave up on the SS just because I knew i'd be replacing everything anyway, so the only reason to have it would be just to say I have a SS. Nonetheless, I had been waiting for many months for the right deal while driving my moms ugly 94 Taurus feeling all pissed everytime I saw a nice car and not having one myself. Well, finally I bought my 01 Z28 for $10,450. Totally loaded, though it has 83K miles. If you shop around and wait, it'll pay off. Sure, the miles are high, especially for an 01, but I figure i'm modding it anyway, so oh well

Oh yeah... it took me 5 months to sell my Mustang. I couldn't even get anyone to call about it. Finally out of the blue, some guy calls and says he's coming to check it out. I sold my 93 GT with almost 100K miles for $7800... again, I waited and got more than the usual for a 93.

You still have an auto though
