Best drag radials? Are nitto and bfg the only ones?
Yokohama does not make a drag radial; they make a road race tire (A032R Advan) that some use as a drag radial. It does not work as well as the Nitto 555R at the strip. Having owned both BFG and Nitto DR's (and a host of R compounds), I will say that it is true that the BFG will hook better at the track, but they suck horribly on the street. I only got 2,200 miles out of the BFG's, and consistantly get 9-11K miles from Nitto DR's. The Nitto's are also much better than the BFG in the rain and in corners. Of course once all the tread is gone all bets are off with ANY tire.
If you are going to drive them on the street, I think the Nitto is the only choice.

My bad on the Yokohamas. This is what my friend had. They're not drag radials, but he said they hooked hard.
