So... yeah, I was driving home from work and I'm following this older lady, right. Well, we get to a street light and it changes yellow (woulda been plenty of time for us to go through), but she slams on her brakes! I have to slam on mine to stop from runnin into her. I thought to myself, forget this I'll pass on the left! so i pulled around the side of her. By this time a line of traffic builds up behind her, but I need to get over into the lane to get on the highway. The light turns green and I gun it to get around her. Just as I look over, she accelerates as fast as her car will go! well, that pisses me off, so I floor it and my tires squeel like a mother, and I easily pass her. I get onto the highway, and no more than 15 seconds later a black and white trooper runs me down and pulls me over. The officer came up to my window and said "Just because you got the ponys, DOESN'T MEAN YA GOTTA USE'M"

So let that be a lesson to anybody wanting to pass someone on the left. Check your rear view mirror first and 'Just cause ya got the pony's, you certainly dont gotta use'm

 

man i totally understand you. I had the EXACT same thing happen in a 93 RX7, F-bodys have way more power, but this type of thing only happens once.

 

Yes, I have had something similar happen to me. It was dark out and I took off from a stop light. I was going 65 mph in a 35 when I decided I should let off. Moments later I saw a car out of the corner of my eye. He was pacing me, I was thinking WTF does he think he is faster? So I look over and just before I floor it I notice its a cop! He shined the spot light in my car while shouting to pull over, then went behind me and turned on the cherries.
