Shorty headers with LM?

Shorty headers with LM?
I have heard a LM with LT's and an offroad pipe and it sounded like crap. I like my LM with the stock setup now, but a pal of mine has a set of shorties with an offroad pipe that he'll sell me for like $125. Anybody heard this setup? I don't want to have to buy a corsa or something to put on with this, I just got the LM! I know about putting the dynomax bullet muffler on too, but am just curious if anyone has tried this.

With no cats it is going to sound like the setup you heard.For 125 you can't beat that price.Put it on and if you don't like the sound you can change that by putting on cat's or adding a spintech muffler on there.
