Good Deal for these Heads?

I found a guy with a "blow out" price on AFR 225cc Heads.

He wants $2150.00 for the setup with the standard springs and $2250.00 for the heads with beehive 9018 springs.

What do you think?

Well, according to two sites that I checked (that usually have decent pricing), they retail for $2475~$2480 with a set of springs good to .600 lift.

Their standard springs are better than the 918's IMO.

That blowout price is only ~$200 lower than Texas Speed's regular price with dual springs and Ti retainers.

That's a good price for those heads. My parts guys have em for $2495 complete. And they have the cheapest prices on just about everything.

Go w/ PRC dual Springs. 918's have had a breaking problem. Unless you're going w/ a mild lift cam.

Yeah, i'd stay away from the 918's as well.

Go with PRC Duals, Patriot Golds, etc.

There are other heads options for that price. ETP, Trickflow, etc.

Personally, I think the Dart 225s are great for the money ($1500).
