You shouldn't lose bottom end power from a better flowing catback. The GMMG system should flow as well as any of the better aftermarket systems and provide about a 10HP increase over stock.

and it's one of the BEST sounding exhausts on the market IMHO
kindda pricy...but it's stainless and will really last

basically, the torque moves slightly higher up in the powerband is all, that's why you might feel like you lost a little on the low end (not that i felt that though)
and yea, look for a group purchase
ls1tech.com, f-bodyhideout.com might have one
i got mine for 600 through one of those
