GMMG exhaust question

Anyone who has the GMMG system, how did it affect your power and times after installation? Did you lose bottom end? any info would be helpful on this system

Re: GMMG exhaust question

You shouldn't lose bottom end power from a better flowing catback. The GMMG system should flow as well as any of the better aftermarket systems and provide about a 10HP increase over stock.

This is why exhaust is a pure opinion thing: I absolutely HATE the gmmg sound, but it IS a quality catback.

I totally agree. I was debating which cat-back to get for the Firehawk and I was able to hear several in person, one of them being the GMMG. In my opinion, the GMMG has the most muscular sound out of the ones I heard. The loudmouth was just WAY to loud and raspy. The GMMG has that low rumble when you are cruising but with scream when you get on the gas. Plus, the premium tips look great! It is rather expensive but look around the message boards for a group buy like I did and you can save over $100. Good luck.

don't hear that often
but yea, i felt a good increase in power
basically, the torque moves slightly higher up in the powerband is all, that's why you might feel like you lost a little on the low end (not that i felt that though)

and yea, look for a group purchase
ls1tech.com, f-bodyhideout.com might have one
i got mine for 600 through one of those
