Guys,
I have had my 2001 Z-28 for about 5 weeks now and was wondering what tools I should have in my car for emergency situations? I used to have a 1996 Impala SS and had a small tool kit with sockets, ratchets etc. that were specific to basic maintenance on the car. I haven't had to do any work on my car yet, but I want to be ready in case of some freak event. So aside from jumper cables, tire pressure gauge, screw drivers, and pliers what other tools do you think would come in handy? what size sockets are used to remove the brake calipers? any other suggestions as to what to keep in my emergency breakdown/maintenance kit?
thanks

I used to carry a kit too, until after a year I realized nothing has broken on the road and even if it did I have AAA. Now I don't even carry my jumper cables because not very many people I know have a engine big enough to jump start mine with. Whenever I call AAA I have to request one of those big tow trucks because the pick ups they have don't cut it.
