fuel pressure question
I'm going to ge getting a 2 1/16 fuel pressure gauge for my car, but the only ones I can find are either $30 and $215. The only difference between the two are an isolator? Can I just pay an extra $60 and get steel braided line and save $115, or is it absolutely necessary? I want to be on the safe side, but does it take an isolator to accomplish that?
Thanks ahead of time

If I understand you correctly, you are going to purchase a 2 1/16 fuel pressure gauge. If you are going to install it INSIDE your vehicle, you want an electric gauge, with a sending unit tapping into the the end of your fuel rail (you remove the schreader valve, and adapt a nitrous fitting AN4 male to female, 1/8 NPT on top (Jeg's sells them).
If you are going to a DIRECT line gauge (liquid filled), YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE THIS INSIDE THE VEHICLE, isloator or no isolator. Even using braided hose, you do not want to chance raw fuel leaking into the inside of your car, under 60 lbs. pressure.
