If not, you might check the metal tabs in your brake calipers. These tabs are supposed to be bent down when you install the pads, but if not, they move around and click when you turn and when brake is applied.

Just a thought - I had this very same thing after a rotor/pad replacement at a local shop.

Did you check the lugnuts to see if they are loose? When I got my new wheels put on about 100 miles later there was a loud clicking noise coming from my back tire and I looked at everything trying to find the problem and finally my wife of all people asked if the tire was on there tight after telling her that she was crazy i checked and sure enough every lug nut wasnt even finger tight.

Not sure about the Trans Am wheels but I had the same clicking/crinkling sound from my front passenger side wheel a while ago on my old LT1 wheels.

It ended up being that the lugnut cover was loose and rotating freely in the rim. Fixed it with a little double sided foam tape on the inside of the cover where it makes contact with the rim/lugnuts (made the cover fit snug into the rim with no slop)

Just a thought...

Listen strawberry, just because you didn;t go with the lid doesn;t mean you have to knock that or the SSRA. The fact of the matter is you paid more and gained the same numbers as I did. Its been tested before and compared constantly. I see no reason to refer to either one as "gay", so now I am laughing my "azz" off
