Re: Which Flowmaster should i get???

I gained 13 rwhp with my flowmaster. The shop that installed it always does a complimentary before/after dyno. I've also had my Flowmaster on my car for 4.5 years and it's still in good shape. I put down 283hp at the wheels after the flowmaster install. The only other mod being a CAI at the time.

Compstall, do you have the 80 series cross flow (dual exhaust look) or 40 series with 2 tailpipes exiting the driver's side of the muffler?

It's the single-in dual-out setup w/ a couple 3" chrome slash-cut tips welded on.

ok...I'M GOING TO HAVE CUT OUTS!!! so i could really care less about how much the muffler chokes the motor...i was just curious as to the SOUND not performance because I'M GOING TO HAVE CUT OUTS for the performance part of it...just thought i'd make that a little bigger since some people were missing that...thanks again and if any one has suggestions on my original question of which flomaster to run that would be awesome

Re: Which Flowmaster should i get???

We did a before and after dyno with a Flowmaster system that a customer brought in. I don't know which series it is but it was a 3" system with dual exits, one one each side. Went from a SLP dual/dual system and lost 7rwhp with the flowmaster system. Dynos were done within 1 hour of each other.

For the price you just can't beat a Hooker or Magnaflow.

EVERYONE!!! HE'S GOING TO HAVE CUT OUTS!!! Cut outs for the PERFORMANCE!!!!! Don't EVER forget it!

If you're willing to dish out $500-600 in a group purchase, then the GMMG exhaust is what you want. You'll have performance AND the best sound out of a cat-back exhaust. GMMG
