What you are describing is a THERMAL VACUUM SWITCH. Not a ported vacuum switch. There IS as difference, and the two terms get mixed up alot by those who don't understand what they mean. (similar to motor vs engine) Regardless, the LS1 doesn't have any, and even if it did a 160 degree thermostat wouldn't affect it, or moisture buildup in the oil.

Anyways, I'm off to replace my power window engine.
