Lightbulb Faint Humming/Chime Sound in Hatch

I have noticed a faint humming/chime sound coming from the hatch (car in question is a 1998 Z28) area. I have the Monsoon stereo and am wondering if the sound is coming from the amp. Anybody out there ever experience the same situation that I am describing??

Thanks

Not sure about the chime, but the humming could be your fuel pump.

You coud alse be hearing some electric interference through your speakers.

As allready mentioned the humming is most likely the fuel pump. GMs pumps are usually very loud. It could also be the igniton, they have a tendency to make noise with interferance in the speakers.
