F Body Salvage Yards - nation wide

Does anybody know of any? I'm looking for 2000-2002 SOM body side moldings. FYI - Chevrolet doesn't stock colored moldings any more for the F body. They're white and have to be painted. So next time somebody bounces a door of your's, there'll be a nice bic white spot where the paint came off. Cheap Bastages!

Here's one: http://www.billygrahamscamaro.com/

Never dealt with them, so can't say anything about their performance.

Not sure about those midwest jusnk yards. I know of f-parts salvage but its in Birstol, PA. www.fparts.us

Anyway these side molding come from someone else pre-colored. I believe the entire run for one side ran me 8.00 from the body shop, not installed of course. I imagine that the camaros arent much more. Just go to the body shop, they'll get them for you cheap.

You'll be miles ahead to just repaint your original molding. Junkyards are notorious for screwing-up exterior body parts when they remove them, not to mention the shipping cost.

You might want to check out Speed Automotive. They are an F-body salvage yard.

The originals are slightly distorted. They don't hold up too well to semi truck tires rubbing down the side of the car. They're just held on by 3m 2 sided foam adhesive. They peel right off without damage. But off course, I had to buy the Orange car. There aren't many of those to be found. Oh well. No regrets.

Thanks for all the replies.

BTW - Cost and shipping charges are irrelivant.

You didn't send me your info. Don't be modest! You helped me out more than you can imagine. I'm buying lunch. Check your suikkari@charter.net PayPal account.

And I'm not taking "NO" for an answer!

FWIW, You can also add www.hpsalvage.com to the list of LS1 / LT1 yards. They may or may not be able to contribute body parts.
