engine and exhaust questions.

I have a few questions...I just decided to make them one thread.

-First off I'm looking at a Bassani exhaust to replace my borla.
(its old and i want a new exhaust), And I was just wondering if MAC midlengths and Ypipe would fit with it.

Also, are MAC headers any good? I guess what I'm asking is are midlengths anygood?

And Finally, Would a ZO6 cam and headers be a good power gain? And where can i find them and how much will they cost together?

I'm still learning so please don't tell me these are stupid questions. THX guys

Just curious why you would go with mid-lenghts rather than long tubes?

I agree , go with long tubes.

Same thing with the cam if your gonna do all that work might as well put a little more in.

Well I would imagine you would gain the most hp from long tubes. I don't see too many people running around with mid lenghts so that kinda makes me wonder if they are all that good. Sorry just wondering if you had considered lts.

Well I know LTs are the way to go, but theres a little thing called insufficient funds...I suffer from this problem So I assume mid lengths give me a power gain too. maybe not as much as LTs, but ya know. Maybe someday when I can afford to get bored of a Roush mustang and buy an SS I could go long tubes!!

Mids give minimal gains compared to the stock manifolds, but yes MAC are good. It's just if you plan more mods in the future the mids will become the choke point later on and you'll end up going to LT's later anyway! I know 2 people that's happend to already.
