Engine backfired, now the car wont start??

Last night I went to the dragstrip. The good news is I run a 7.60 with a 1.668 60 foot, but now my car wont run. On my fourth run (while spraying 100 shot) the car started to backfire, and the lid blew off (the metal straps come undone but nothing was damanged). So I let the car sit, then run it again and that's when I run a 7.60. So after that exciting run I waited about 5-10 min and returned to the pits. On my last run It backfired and then the car died. There are no leaks, the engine still turns over normally and it's NOT freespinning. I checked all the fuses, and all seemed to be ok, but when we pulled one of the wires to check the spark(fire) I had no spark. There is a video of the run where the car died below, whats going on?

The first thing to be damaged in a backfire is the MAF.

Just to satisfy my curiosisty what's your track elevation?

My friend works at a chevrolet dealership, and he put a scan tool on my car, He thinks the maf sensor is bad b/c all the codes relate back to the maf sensor. The codes were:
P0101
P0102
P0128
P0132
P0155
P0300
P0335
P1135
P1153
P1637
could the maf sensor not working cause the car not to have spark(fire)? What Maf sensor should I buy, my car was tuned with a Granatelli Motor Sports Mass Airflow Sensor, so what sensor should I buy?

Stock MAF is all you need. It will support tons of power.

All you need for most builds is a Stock MAF.

It was the maf sensor. I had a buddy with another camaro come over and I took his maf sensor off his car and put mine. My car started instantly when I cranked it over. So the lesson that I learned, is if the maf sensor goes bad it can cause the computer not to send spark to the engine. wow???

^Good thing you found it.. Somewhat cheap and easy first,

Sounds like a nitrous sneeze... At least it didn't shatter your intake.. are you running a window switch? What RPM were you spraying when it happened? I take it it's a wet kit..

I have the (horsepower in a box) timing tuner, it engauges the nitrous at 3000 rpms to 6000rpms. I don't know what rpms that the car was at when the car backfired, I would guess somewhere around 4000+.
