I have a 98 camaro which i am about to put a ls6 intake manifold on. I ordered this thing from lpe. It fits in the ls6IM where the egr pipe fits into the ls1IM. LPE says i should drill a hole and install there piece. Would trashing the hole EGR crap give me more pony power then keeping it? Since I really dont want to drill into the manifold is there anyway i can avoid egr without getting the old dummy lights to go off? anyway to trick it? or plug the egr tube back into the exaust?

 

It'll definitely throw a SES light and that requires computer reprograming to eliminiate (the only way I'm sure) - via LS1 edit or someone like Ed Wright.
