Ok, I know the cats need the air system. I've also heard of people dammaging their cat system w/ a bad or disconnected air system. -THis is accurate right? What do I have to do to delete this? I'm looking into some weight reduction and cleaning the underhood up a bit. Pics would be appreciated.

As afar as the EGR goes, What do I have to do besides cap off the fittigns for the headers and delete it from the ECM?..and obviuously, take that dang valve out from under the hood. -And cap the intake.

I just need to know what compoinents to remove for the AIR system.

I'll have to get a set of cut-outs to replace the cats.
