Question Dynomouth Question

I have decided to get the Dynomouth Exhaust. I was woundering how long of the DynoMax Muffler I should get, the 12" or 18"? I know it should be the 3" in and out, with 4" round, or I think anyways . Thanks for the reply's.

Thumbs up

If you have cats, get DynoMax part #24222 (short)
If you have an ORP, get DynoMax part #24219 (long)
If you want it quiet, and have cats, go long.
If you have an ORP an want it really loud, go short.
Those are your options.
I have cats and a shorty, you would not be disappointed in the beautiful noise that makes...
One thing you need to do, MAKE SURE you get DynoMax bullets. Generic bullets and other brand glasspacks like you would get at most corner exhaust shops have large flow disrupting fins inside and will not perform as well as the 'preforated core' design of the DynoMax.
Good luck
Dave

Hey thanks Dave, I order'ed the short DynoMax from Jegs and hope to have it early next week. I also have my cats still, so im waiting for the rumble from my car Also, do you know if this will cause any issues with the vet, I think this is the last year for it here, but I was reading on it and they said its for racing only.

Thanks again,
Adam

Cool

"the vet"?
I assume you mean emissions laws?
I don't see why it would, the muffler is not an emissions control device.
It's sound control... you have a better feel for your local noise laws than anyone. Not to worry though, this setup is deep and nice sounding, but not loud... at least not until rpm levels that you wouldn't be visiting around Johnny Law with any system.
