Double checking what I was told about installing cutout.

I know the cutout goes in the I pipe. Is it underneath the rear passenger seat before the rear axle pointing towards the ground so the bottom of the car does not get heated?

I put mine on the I pipe right before the axle, there is a space to place it sideways which is the way i have mine.

i have it pointed towards the tire so it doesn't drag but doesn't heat up the car

i have mine a little bit after the passenger seat pointing out with a little down angle, no problems with the car heating, pointing straight down would cause bad draggin wouldnt advise that.
