Not exactly complicated engine tech, but I was wondering what you guys use to lube your door hinges? My car had to spend some time outside during this winter unfortunately, and the squeeks are getting real bad now so I want to take care of this! Don't want to accidentally do something stupid and use something that could possibly mess up my paint or cause some other sort of damage, lol.

I just sprayed some WD40 on there. Went away.

 

alright that's what I figured but wanted to check that gm doesn't recommend something else for some odd reason .
