Question Does your left front tire wear it's outside edge faster than the right ?

It's mainly noticeable on cars where the tires do not get rotated - like if you are running drag radials in the rear.

Or, like me and just burning the Kumho's in the rear unmercifully !

At any rate, my buddies '00 SS & his wife's ex ' 00 WS6 did it.

My '99 appears to be doing it as well - not quite as much, but that may be due to the fact that I did rotate my tires one time in 22K.

Thoughts ?

Thanks !!

Britt

check your alignment.. I got my alignment checked and set on my 99 Z28 after two years of driving and I the camber was positive(which is GM spec!) but uneven.... Since I autox, I was wearing out the ouside edges alot faster, so opted for max neg camber (only got -0.5 on both sides), 4.5 caster and 0 toe.. Combine that with a 35 mm front sway bar and I have good wear, and alot better cornering grip up front..

you might also want to check that the wheels are balanced properly, and that you didn't throw a wheel weight.
