I saw some on ebay and was wondering if it is recommended? Also, which one is the best one, and by which manufacturer?

all are about the same when it comes to function

so price and appearance (personal preferance) come into play more.

i perferr BMR. it's a nice simple and solid 2pt brace and you can choose your color

Thumbs up

In all likely hood you won't really notice a difference, the thing is it will help keep the front towers tight for years to come. For the money it's a must do mod. JMO.

Very good mod, but I'd suggest SFC's over STB, though. Difference is much more noticeable with SFC's than STB.

I didn't notice any difference in feel. A lot of people thought it looked cool though.

SFC= sub frame connectors

they kinda help stiffin your chasis so it doesn't twist or flex under load so your putting the power to the ground and not twisting the frame up

the STB is mostly just an appearance mod. you won't notice much diff in how the car handles.

Looks as good as any. I would get that over one of the three point ones. The third point puts stress on the windshield.

Yes you will notice a difference. According to this persons mods list, he doesnt have a STB, so hes not speaking from experience.

nope, don't have one. never said i did. just speaking from reading about it many times on the board. if you feel a diff, great. but there are many who have posted on the board who haven't noticed a difference. in fact, that's why i didn't get one, because i did my research on the board and most say it doesn't noticeably effect handling.

nice sleuthing, though... BTW, since you were at my site, you may recognize my car this saturday at in-n-out...

I noticed no change when I installed my STB. But even with a hardtop I noticed when the SFC's were welded in.
