Nope.

Some of us who get pretty good MPG would like that..............

But those of us who get really bad MPG (mods and lead foot) i don't think would want to be reminded how low it can go.

But no, we don't have that.

Sure it could be installed. Would it work, probably not. The computer in the Monte probably has provisions for this equipment, or just a specific program to constantly update the display. I'm sure you could get it to work, but it would be way more effort than it is worth. Just buy a Monte SS and drop in a LS6. That should give you the equivalent of a stock LS1 fbody performance (because of more weight). That might be easier.

Drop a LS6 in a fwd monte... how is that less work? What tranny are you using? And what does that have to do with a mileage computer. Easiest solution is to do the simple division at the pump and call it a day.

There is a GOOOOOD reason we don't have those on our cars and why Chevy would NEVER have thought to do it... Think about this... you (a respectable middle age crisis would-be-buyer) wants a "sporty" car to have fun in... you hop in during a test drive and what do you see at the top of your dash... "AVG MPG 8, 9, 8, 7,.... " You just changed your mind...

Chevy doesn't want to lose customers over a silly thing like that... better to keep it a secret and pretend you can get "good" mileage if you drive it conservatively..

I had that in a Lincoln Mk VII LSC we owned. They're just gimicks for the people that want gadgets on their car. They serve little to no practicle purpose.

less work?.......well a slight exageration, but my point was that installing that device and altering the current CPU settings or installing a new one would be too much work, for something so simple. I was just sayin, if you want to work real hard, make it worthwhile (the LS6), figure out the drivetrain later.
