Question Do I need to connect the A.I.R. system to my LTs?

My pacesetters have the passenger side airvalve fitting welded 90* off, so as a result I just capped the holes on the headers and left the air system just blowing. Am I going to run into any problems with this? Will I get a code?

Doing that will eventually mess up the check valves in the AIR system, which will cause an SES light. It won't hurt performance though.
