Do all SS's have T-Tops?
Positive. If you read all the posts youd see I ordered the Z as is. At the time all the SS and Z28s in Foridas dealers stocks all had T-Tops and leather. Dont care for eighter option. I had planned to road race or autoX at the time. Coupes roof is stronger without T-Tops. Contrary to some others thinking in these posts. Way too much flex with a cutup roof pannel

Words cannot explain my love of the LS1 Trans Am WS6.
I think about it all day, I think about it before I go to bed, I dream about it, I wake up and think "holy ****ing sh|t its time to drive my WS6 again!!!
I probably think about my WS6 more than I think about sex now!
Omega9 thats nuttz cars and women come and go. Theres always the 1 that got away though. In my case if I knew then what I know now. Id have never gotten rid of my 1970 Monte Carlo 454 SS 4 speed. But women and cars will always be around. As you get older you want older cars and younger women. So for now think more about the women. Its almost as easy to replace a good car as it is a good but used women.
No bashing please ladies out there ty ty very much.
My 2002 SS has no T-tops but I odered it that way. The dealer that I odered it from odered another one (no T-tops) just like mine because he liked it so much. So I have seen a dealer order one without T-tops.
Owning the 92 camaro... sold, no t-tops,
then the 92 Formula, project car, no t-tops.
I had to get the 99 with the T's....
I am loving it...
They do squeak just a little bit when I am going up a steep incline at a sharp angle, but other than that....
I actually take them off every chance I get. Today, while stuck at a train crossing... I jumped out of the car, and took 'em off!
T-tops... Loving every minute!

Ok, I feel the need to come in on the side of tee-tops here, because I agree with these other guys, there's absolutely nothing like flying down the highway at night, being able to look up and see stars, and yet still feel protected because of that central roof-spar.
On the other hand, I suppose I can see the desire for a hardtop if you're a hardcore track guy or whatever, and for that, to each their own I say.
But man, weekends here on Florida, tee-tops down are where it's at.
Oh, and one more thing, to the one or two people above complaining that they don't take their t-tops down because "it's a hassle"....you guys are a bunch of whiners. It takes me roughly 15 seconds to have both tops off, in the trunk, and be back in the driver's seat. If 15 seconds is too much "hassle" for you, I can't imagine what your girlfriend's must think about your performance in bed.
Just my two bits.
